Alec Goldfarb Quartet
The Alec Goldfarb Quartet performs a body of long-form compositions rooted in modern jazz and contemporary classical music, exploring extended just intonation, shifting rhythmic perception, dense counterpoint, and fluid relationships between composition and improvisation. Featuring Phillip Golub (piano), Mathias Jensen (bass), and Steven Crammer (drums), the quartet creates music in which multiple layers of time, melody, and harmony unfold simultaneously. Moving between rhythmic intensity, lyrical openness, and psychedelic harmonic fields, the music balances formal complexity with groove, spontaneity, and expressive immediacy.
Debut album in 2027.
